Democrats have again not learned to shut up. Now They are asking the president to come up with a winning plan for Afghanistan. Now the big question is how can a bunch of politicians come up with a plan when they are to scared to set foot in Afghanistan and talk to the troop that have on the ground knowledge of what needs to be done. That would make sense so obviously a bunch of politicians are not going to try that.
Just to let everyone else know the way to win in Afghanistan is very simple. Get away from the Forward Operating Bases that are nothing but large cities. Those do absolutely no good. you will need to move to Battalion or smaller operating bases and have at least one platoon base per valley. To make resupply a lot easier you put the corps of engineers together with local contractors and start to build a road system that will reach what we need and as we move in the roads get built and this allows us to move supplies and re-inforcements into areas. This will push the taliban into the mountains and eventually they will be without a power base and completely choked off.
For all of you that are not to smart this is a long term plan. there is no quick fix in an unconventional war. this plan will talk alot of time but it will solve the problems. but if i can figure this out. I am sure a bunch of college educated people can do the same ( NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!).
