Outside

Growing up on a farm in Minnesota you come to love the outdoors. As far back as i can remember i have always been an outside person. I love spending the day under the sun doing anything i can think of. When i was a kid i was constantly outside playing in the grove, or the barns or in the yard. I would ride my bike all over the farm, run around, build forts, play games, i was always happiest being outdoors. I love to go camping, fishing, and hunting. For me the army in general was a natural choice the infantry specifically was the place for me to be.


As we toured Japan the different landscape amazed me. There is a natural beauty with the mountains and all the green forests and fields. They run almost right up to the coastline here are some pictures that i took along the beach. Now December and January are not exactly relaxing on the beach time. Even with the cold it was still a great place to go just look and see.
